This week the fellas welcome returning guest and friend of the show Mikey Shumaker into Studio B, because CONGRATULATIONS are in order. Since we last had the opportunity to sit down with him and chat, 8 Mile Vodka… the brand he champions, represents, hypes, has a stake in, AND generally works his ass off for has BLOWN UP!!! Not only have they became the official vodka of the Detroit Pistons, been welcomed into Tiger Stadium, and began a wider distribution of the brand outside of Michigan… they have won Double Gold at the San Francisco Spirits Competition AND won Best of Class Vodka and Best of Class Overall Vodka for 2022 out of all the Double Gold winners. We find no finer way to congratulate the homie, than have him in studio and sip some 8 Mile cocktails and offer a standing ovation. We also figured we would throw a bit of a curve ball Mikey’s way and ask him what he wanted to “Get Deep” about, which led to some great convo on some old school SGD topics we haven’t really brought up in a while. After all was said and done, one thing is obvious… Mikey is going to have to come on back soon and jump right into the deep end for some more thought provoking topics.
