Sit With: Inner and Outer Soundscape Sit With

    • スピリチュアル

In this practice we use sound as a focal point for our meditation. We first listen for the sounds around us, as they come and go. Simply observe and let go. Then we shift to the inner soundscape, exploring sensation, emotions, and patterns of thought.

Questions for Inquiry:
1. We often use the breath as a focus point in meditation. How was it to use sound?
2. What external sounds did you observe? What internal sounds did you observe?
3. As a creative person, where does your inspiration and content come mostly come from? If external, practice using internal material this week. If you normally engage with internal material, practice using external.
