Always an interesting podcast to listen to. It would be nice to hear Robert more, Joe tends to try and monopolize the talking,
A view into life and consciousness
To really appreciate this podcast, you need to listen to several episodes so that you can catch the repeating themes, questions about the nature of life itself (on the cellular level, on the level of the organism and the things that live within it or on it, at the species level) and questions about the nature of consciousness: how does the brain work? Is the mind more than just the brain? Is the "singularity" a real possibility? How do animals perceive the world? How are human thoughts and emotions affected by their physical bodies? And many more...

I was looking for something similar to Radiolab and found this podcast. I like the blog (howstuffworks), but the podcast is a bit boring and it definitively didn't blow my mind even though the topics are actually quite interesting… it's just too much blahblah and no excitement.
