Mark14:12-26Mark tells us that it is the first day of Unleavened Bread (v. 12) which was the day Passover was celebrated. In less than 24 hours Jesus will be delivered up to the authorities and on his way to the cross. Jesus spends his final day with his disciples breaking bread. We know this today as the “Last Supper.”
