The Light, The Sea, and Me Guided HeART Journeys

    • メンタルヘルス

Today in our imagery, we will be exploring a shoreline and you’ll be given the opportunity to release some of your stress to the universe through the water. Following the imagery, you’ll have the chance to play with colored water on paper to duplicate the image of the water carrying your stress away.

Supplies used for today's art experience (all "found" supplies):
- Small containers to hold water
- Tap water
- Water-soluble food coloring (if desired). You can color your water with various fruits and vegetables if you don't have food coloring at home.
- Spoon, straw, eyedropper, etc - means of "delivering" the water to your paper... be creative!
- Various types of paper. Can include printer paper, cardstock, mixed media paper, tissue paper (from gift bags), any other kind of paper you want to use!
- A rimmed sheet pan to contain drips and/or a silicone mat
- Paper towels or old towels you don't mind getting stained with food coloring

To reflect further, listen to "The Light and The Sea" by Dar Williams: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGurUxOgQ1I
