My guest this episode is none other than Ventura local comedian Jake Gallo. This cool cat has performed on stages of all kinds, from local pizza shops, and dive bars, to some of the biggest comedy clubs in the country. In addition to doing stand up comedy, he also produces and hosts his own stand up comedy shows. Jake was one of the first comics to show me love and respect when I first started doing open mic comedy in Ventura. Since then he's been helpful in helping me navigate the comedy scene. However since the COVID-19 pandemic, he has now created an outdoor social distancing comedy show at a local little league baseball field in Oxnard and calls it "Jokes in the Outfield". Episode #20 Frank Castillo

Frank Castillo joins me for a pre-420 smoke sesh during this quarantine. I met Frank when he came to judge the Ventura Roast Battle held by my friend and fellow comedian Aaron Anderson. Frank Castillo grew up in San Jose, CA and was interested in comedy from a young age. Frank worked his way up at the iconic Los Angeles venue The Comedy Store, from staring as a door guy, to becoming a paid regular. Frank became a staple of The Comedy Store Roast Battles and in January of 2017, Frank became the Champion of Roast Battle II on Comedy Central. Episode #19 Jojo Galindo

Not gonna let this COVID-19 quarantine season stop us from podcasting. Thanks to Zoom meetings I'm still able to keep up with my cousins Jojo and Gibby Galindo. Both of them attend Don Lugo HS in Chino, CA but have had their school year cut short and are now forced to learn from home. Baseball season has been suspended for them so far and they are hoping this coronavirus mess will be over before football season. Jojo has just received an offer to play in the Tiki Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii after the new year. Hopefully he is able to put up a big senior season, and hopefully get a college offer.

Episode #17 Michael Davis

This episode I have the pleasure of talking with Michael Davis, a former collegiate athlete who I happen to know from Buena High School. Michael is a former football player who played at Buena when we were in school, and then at Ventura College before playing Division-I at Charleston Southern University. After a few unsuccessful pro workouts, he became a running backs and strength coach at Ventura College. Along with coaching, Michael is also a licensed real estate agent, entrepreneur and an investor in the SchollyME app. With his business mindset and his sports background combined, he has been able to positively impact many young athletes by educating them on new ways to use technology to help further their athletic careers.
