If life is perplexing just remember: It’s almost always about the guitar.
-
The Tobolowsky Files Ep. 98 - The Creature’s New York Adventure
One afternoon in New York, I was a winner. Lucky for me - I still have the proof.
-
The Tobolowsky Files Ep. 97 - The Show Does Not Have To Go On
This picture was taken before I knew I was going to be a character actor. Every disaster, at one point, looked like a success. Unfortunately, every success also can look like disaster. That’s why there are so many bars in New York.

The Tobolowsky Files Ep. 96 - The Creature Returns
How do you make a merry-go-round more like a roller coaster? You ride closer to the edge.
-
The Tobolowsky Files Ep. 95 - The Last Cat
A love letter and a prayer for a beautiful girl with short legs. I am referring to Belle. Pictured is
Ann and Belle sleeping together. Unfortunately, I am not in the bed, but someone had to write
the story. -
The Tobolowsky Files Ep. 94 - The Persistence of Vision Part 2: Two Dreams
Life can be hard. Sometimes we have to be unconscious to know what’s happening.

Second review---
If is wasn't for the social convention that prohibits men from crying in public I think I would have been crying the entire walk home from the station tonight. I've just finnished listenin to the latest episode of the Tobolowsky Files; Three Honeymoons and once again Stephen have produced a perfect episode. His ability to draw you in to his personal tale while allowing you to conntect it to your own life is something that I have not felt before. Maybe it's because Stepthen represents the every man. If this was the Brad Pitt files, maybe it wouldn't seem to personal. Or maybe it's just because his stories draw such parralells to my own life. At any rate I can't recommend this pod cast any higher.
Not wanting to seem like a paid stooge, I also my recooment the /Filmcast. I listen to it every week, including the After Dark. It is wasn't for Dave Chen, the sexualy ambiguaous presenter (for comic effect [listen to the latest After Dark for context]), and of course Stephen, the Tobolowsky Files whould not exist.
Keep up the good work.
If I'm as moved by an episode as I was tonight I might have to update this reveiw again.
First review---
I'll be short and to the point, this podcast is brilliant...
Ever since it started listening to this podcast I can't wait for each new episode. During the first episode Stephen said that the secret to a good story is the element of truth. The story can't be made up, it must come for the heart. The facts may be a bit off due to the passage of time but the essence of the story my be real. While I can't say that I believe every word of each story I don't care, Stephen finds a way to engage me and make it real.
Give this podcast a go. If anything, it will bring a smile to your face every episode.
PS. Check out the /Filmcast as we can thank Dave Chen for the existance of the Tobolowsky Files. It's also a great postcast as an added bonus. I don't miss an episode.
