Today Becca and I discuss the amazing Rob Zombie and my emo obsession with Taking Back Sunday. We cry about how much we miss festivals and how going to a show with someone can help determine your really feelings about them in life. Plus seeing Rancid and The Dropkick Murphy’s with a a few professional MMA fighters, one of which unfortunately was wheelchair bound BUT still rocked out. We’re happy to be back, cheers!

This week's episode Becca and Bj discuss Boston, Massachusetts and their love for seeing music in the city.
Becca shares her 12 hours adventure/horror traveling from Bangor, Maine to to see Def Leppard at Fenway Park in 2017.
Bj shares her experience of having no idea who Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey of Grey's Anatomy) or why she's introducing some group named Tegan and Sara when all she wanted to see was Dashboard Confessional back in 2005.
And who wears flip flops to shows? Seriously.

Who are we? 
We're Becca and Bj!
We're just a couple of babes from Maine who love music, local Marijuana and beverages. 
We have no musical talent but we do love to break out singing or making a beat with whatever is closest to us.
Why did we start this? Because we miss live music due to the Pandemic and this is our first year (2020) since the 90's we haven't been to a show.
We MISS IT. I'm sure all of us out there do. So we decided talking about musical experiences helps us remember happier, musically enchanted times. No politics, because as is everyone, we're sick of it. We just want to give listeners a chance to hear stories that will make you laugh, cry, say "What the ::beep::" or help you remember your own experiences.
Music is an experience. 
Each week we will sit down, showing off some of our favorite music merchandise and discuss our experiences with the musical act featured. It could be a concert tee from a show you'll never forget, a hoodie you bought online to support music during a pandemic or that Emo button you bought at Hot Topic back in 2001.
The idea behind the podcast is to simply share experiences at concerts, shows or festivals. The good, the bad and the ugly. And if you're addicted to music like us, you know there's so much more to a live music experience that just the music. The crowd, the adventure of getting there (or getting kicked out....those stories will come later), the people you meet, after parties, pre-game parties, PARTIES. 
And we discuss this while smoking Maine Cannabis from local dispensaries/caregivers and enjoying a Maine inspired drink.
Episode One:
This episode Becca and I attempt to figure out to make a podcast. We discuss our band-tee shirts. Mine a Silversun Pickups and Becca rocking a Candlebox tee. We discuss Becca's experiences with at a Candlebox show in Portland, Maine. The same venue where I got punched in the face trapped inside an Octagon years ago. 
Plus other shows at the same venue which include Becca running up on stage and rocking out with Steel Panther.
We discuss briefly the medical benefits of cannabis and what keeps us sane during these testing times.
