Cole and I discuss our experience in medical school with a focus on what we learned in third year. We also talk about Cole's award winning skills in filmmaking and video production. As always, we also touch on mental and physical health, and wrap up the episode with a few recommendations.

Cole graduated from the University of Clemson in 2019 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He's had many award winning video productions, one of which was featured at the famed Cannes Film Festival in France.

This episode features a conversation with Austin Peterson, a fellow third year medical student. As you will hear, Austin offers some perspective on the challenges and benefits of being a Dad during medical school. We also discuss what we have learned about ourselves during our third year of medical school, and how our response to life's stressors has changed over time.

Austin graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology.

On this episode of the podcast, I was joined by Drew Moss, MD. Dr. Moss talks about lessons learned in medical school, strategies for successful clinical experiences during 3rd and 4th year, and how his outlook on mental health has evolved.

Dr. Moss graduated from Western Michigan University School of Medicine and will begin Internal Medicine residency this year at Mt. Sinai Morningside West in New York. Drew has been an important mentor for me since we lived together while attending the University of Michigan.

David is a CPA working at the Miami branch of Deloitte. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting at Saginaw Valley State University. He also had stints on the school’s baseball and football team throughout his undergrad experience.

In this episode, David and I reflect on important influences in our childhood, how we cultivated discipline throughout our sports endeavors, and how our passions are changing as we grow.

On this episode, I was joined by my friend and classmate Andrew Hospodor. He and I discuss lessons learned in our first year of medical school, the importance of being empathetic, and salient advice that has stuck with us thus far.

In 2021, Andrew was recognized as Student Doctor of the Year by the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians. He has many years of experience being a paramedic and working in emergency medical services.

Ben and I talk about how our experience with the Michigan Football team has transferred to our current positions. We also touch on mental and physical health while discussing his recent accomplishment of running a marathon.
