Veteran Artist Highlight - Photographer, Christopher Green Veteran Artist Highlight

Welcome to the Veteran Artist Highlight, brought to you by The Painted Buffalo Traveling Studio. Featuring interviews of veterans who have served their country and who also happen to be incredible artists. These conversations create a space for understanding, healing, and support for our veterans around the world, telling their own stories through art.

Our first episode highlights my best friend Christopher Green. Green is a 10 year Marine Corps Veteran who spent part of his service as a Artillery Mechanic, 2131. While on deployment Green found the art of photography to not only tell the Marine Corps and Navy story but also have an escape from war time hospital work. Once home, Green made a lateral move into Combat Camera, 4641 and like we say... the rest was history.

I can't wait for you to hear about Chris and his amazing journey to where he is today. As a boudoir photographer, he describes his love of photographing women, showing respect in the studio and making women see photographs of themselves as beautiful as they are.

I'd like to note that Chris and I have known each other for a very long time, so I promise, the way I banter with him is just my love for him as a friend, a mentor, and an inspiration to me on a daily basis..
