This episode is a very informal interview with my friend Marissa living in Wuhan, China. I hope it provides you with some further understanding of what people around the globe are experiencing during this pandemic as well as give you some hope. Marissa has been in quarantine for 9 weeks. It was a pleasure for me to meet and talk with her over Zoom, and I hope you find it helpful.

In episode 5, Grace Bigler and I talk about the possibility of play therapy being used to help adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. This model of therapy could be used to help adults find healing from their past hurts through play therapy. ACE study is discussed, therapy possibilities in ministry and missions context and with language barriers are analyzed.

Can an individual actively be sexually abusing someone and simultaneously be saved by God? Listen to Dr. Ashish Varma and I talk about this theological question, potential consequences a sexual abuser may face, and advice for Church leaders facing real life situations where sexual abuse needs to be confronted. Episode four is true to the purpose of this podcast: not comfortable but extremely beneficial. I was nervous to record this episode, but I think it’s my favorite one so far.
