Today we wrap up Season 1 of this podcast. It has been so fun to walk with you all through the stories of our Biblical characters, and see modern day examples through the friends we bring in. We pray this time has blessed you and you have been able to receive from God. Tune in to laugh with us and hear a summary of all we talked about this Summer. In this episode we interview our friend Josh. He has seen some amazing (and some not-so-amazing) things in his life. Just from being around him we knew he was the right person to interview regarding Peter's story. However, only God knew just how well this interview would represent how we can step into the redemption of Jesus.

We are all unfinished products. Peter found himself in a place where he needed to be redeemed for the things that he had done. You may be in a place where there are things in your past that you need help to let go and move forward. Let's dive in and figure out how we can walk in victory like Peter did through the redemption of Jesus.

We begin the Peter series with this episode. The life of Simon the fisherman is completely upended when the controversial preacher, Jesus, calls Simon to be one of his disciples. It's Jesus that renames Simon to Peter. It's Jesus who changes the world through this man and the other crazy people who follow Him. So, if you hear us mention Jesus a lot... it's because you can't separate the stories of the disciple from the rabbi!

When we understand the character of God, we can't help but react in radical ways! We become counter cultural and Pastor Makhonyola Khoza is an excellent example of this phenomenon. As believers we are all called to be counter cultural but that only becomes natural to us when we consistently chose to fix our eyes upon God! We hope you find this episode to be a reminder of God's grace and an open invitation to grow in relationship with Him! When we do, we truly walk in victory.
