We are friends from Portland, Oregon who share a love for cycling, music, comedy and West Coast culture. We’ve spent the better part of a decade riding, racing, adventuring, and working in the bike industry. Our goal is to tell stories that we don't hear in mainstream media from the people we all want to hang out with. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and neither should you. In our minds, a casual environment breeds authentic storytelling and that’s all we can ask for in our podcast. So let’s hang out!

    Episode 59 // Izzy Sederbaum

    Episode 59 // Izzy Sederbaum

This wonderful human took over the pod with insights on inclusivity in language and our beloved cycling community. Izzy started road cycling as a youngin’ on the east coast and now calls the PNW home. He’s a former bike mechanic who dabbles in the gravel and cyclocross scene while working toward a PhD in Public Policy focusing on how policy punishes and criminalizes queerness/trans-ness, especially for youth and young adults. Izzy also opens up and speaks publicly for the first time about an impactful and extremely sad event that took place back in the spring of 2018. We hope you enjoy this important hang out as much as we do! #shoutout

Episode 57 // Dillen Maurer of Breadwinner + Sugar Wheel Works

We had the pleasure of hanging with Dillen Maurer at Annalisa's house in Portland, OR. Dillen tells his story about a concussion that occurred at a young age and the insidious onset of pain and reduced function that led to some big life changing events and perspectives. We're here to tell you that the story as he tells it today, is a beautiful and inspiring one. He's an incredible human with an affect that is full of joy sprinkled in with a dose of realism. You don't want to miss this one. Thanks for listening!

Episode 56 // Caroline Washam & Kaysee Armstrong of LIV!

New pod just dropped with Kaysee Armstrong and Caroline Washam! We got to hang out with them after their @transcascadia adventure and tapped into two unique experiences from the perspective of distinctly different professional mountain bike racers. Caroline is a World Cup downhiller and Kaysee is a cross country shredder, both are a part of the @livcycling family. What did they think of the (snowy) cascades in late September? Grab a warm beverage and have a listen on this fine autumnal day!

Episode 54 // Tyler Hamilton with Pas Normal Studios

Episode 54 // Tyler Hamilton with Pas Normal Studios

The connection to Tyler was made in a way that we love most about our local and extended cycling community; a friend of a friend reached out with the idea, and we embraced the opportunity. The stories that Tyler is a large part of have undeniably impacted the image of bike racing and cycling culture - the rise and fall of great American athletes. Wherever you, as our listener, fall in opinion on the hot-button issues of doping in the Postal Service era and beyond, we hope you enjoy this episode where we get a glimpse into the real emotion and experience of one human. What’s it like to fall from grace and how does it change the things one values? What is Tyler up to now? Have a listen and find out.
