In life's most uncertain moments, it's our faith that keeps us anchored. 'Standing in Faith Even in the Unknown' is more than just a phrase, it's a journey we embark on together. 2023 came with it celebrations and its hardships as my sister, daughter, and father faced health challenges back to back, and me as a committed and loving sister, mother, and daughter had to make a choice as to how I would navigate these difficult times as the person that I needed to be in that time and space. In this episode I share practical advice to strengthen your faith when the path ahead is unclear.

Remember, no matter how others expect you act, get clear on how you want to weather the storm. Stand on faith and become who you need to be during that time because for some things we in life, we don’t get a do over. Now is the time to get it right so you will have no regrets. You can choose to stand in faith with hope and resilience to embrace the unknown with a surrendered heart and unwavering faith.

As we find strength in faith to face whatever comes our way, here is what we must consider:

👉🏾Be around positive people of faith

Life can throw some hard blows out of no where. That’s where my family currently find ourselves, in the ring face down after being sucker punched. But, one thing I’ve learned about rebounding and resetting is that once you get back up, you have to be strategic and ground yourself in God’s truth, hope, strength, and love. In this episode, Episode 7, I speak on how I have been on a Finance Reset Journey since 2021! My goal is to be debt free (meaning all personal credit card debt, student loan debt, and car loan debt under 5,000).

Your Finance Reset is your own personal journey 🫵🏽 and you are the best person to decide what being 💰debt free means to you. Your why is important and assessing where you currently are financially is also important.

The challenge is being ready to own 🆙, evaluate the numbers, but most importantly to be okay with being okay with the uncomfortableness that will come along with changing your thinking patterns and the constant feeling of wanting to revert back to what is most comfortable to you. It’s okay… take a deep breathe and just remind yourself by repeating this mantra: I do what I have to do, so that I can do what I want to do later. Life can bring us so many twists and turns! Due to the many events that happen to us in life, we can get bogged down. The weight that we carry from all the “stuff” brings our way can be too much to bear and if not dealt with, it will cause great harm. We have been given the opportunity to lay all of our burdens at the foot of the cross, so why is it that we keep holding on to things that we’ve been invited to release and let go of? Some weights are not ours to carry for only God can take on the weight of the world. So, this podcast episodes challenges you to lay your burdens down at the foot of the cross and trust that God will handle it! Remember when life knocks you down, you must make up in your mind not to stay down. You must rejuvenate, renew, and reinvent yourself because life can be wonderful and is worth living.

When in transition it is vital to ask God to order your steps to ensure you are on the right path. One missed or wrong turn can set you back and cause unnecessary headaches that could have been prevented. Transitioning can be tricky and draining so keeping our eyes on the author and finisher of our faith and getting wise counsel are necessary to keep yourself steady and to stay on the right path.

Yeshua is the solid rock. Never be afraid to stand on His firm foundation and let others know the true God that you serve. Never give your authority over to others for them to write your story. That’s God’s job not man’s. Some dibble dabble in things that are not of God and try to lure you in. But don’t fall victim to the trap. When you stand up for your truth, you may get backlash but just know that standing in your identity will attract naysayers, haters, and very noisy folks who are sent on assignment to try an damper the glory that God has given you. But, don’t you fret, stand with the full armor of God and take on the identity of Sonship.
