New initiatives at this year's Alice Springs Show
On the Big Brekky Show, Ola Rzeszowska from the Alice Springs Town Council and Andrew Barrett, President of Alice Springs Show Committee, share what's in store for this year's Alice Springs Show, including new initiatives such as an entertainment stage with live local musicians. True Intent, a featured artist on the stage, A.K.A. Luke Hildren, also joins the Big Brekky to share some acoustic psychedelic electronic music. The Alice Springs Show is held on July 5th and 6th, at Blatherskyte Park.

Kylie Stephenson on tour with Writing for Podcasts workshop
Kylie Stephenson, award-winning journalist and audio producer based on Larrakia country in Darwin, is soon to visit Mparntwe & Tennant Creek on a 'Writing for Podcasts' workshop tour. Kylie is the co-creator of the Walkley Award-winning podcast series 'Lost in Larrimah'. Kylie chats to The Big Brekky about her experiences as a journalist, the creation of Lost in Larrimah, and what participants will learn during the workshops.
The Writing for Podcasts workshop tour is part of the NT Writers Centre's season 2 program, is funded by Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, and is supported by 8CCC and Barkly Arts.
The workshop will be help in Mparntwe on Saturday 15th of June at Red Hot Arts, and in Tennant Creek on Sunday 16th of June at Barkly Arts.

Gavin Morris - Centralian Today article_edit
