More Clinical Trials Needed Yale Cancer Center Research

Promising lab research is too slow to be converted into clinical innovation for patients with cancer. Yale Cancer Center Director Thomas Lynch talks about his plans to dramatically expand clinical research in cancer and the special emphasis that Yale is putting on tailoring treatments to individual patients. The Cancer Center will draw on the resources of the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation to speed discoveries from Yale's vast basic science facilities to the new Smilow Cancer Hospital.
