Should I Be Part of the Great Resignation‪?‬ Inside Job

    • Careers

When we know that more than 11 million people have voluntarily left their work between April – July 2021 in the Great Resignation, we pay attention.
So many of our clients, friends and even family members are asking:  should I be a part of this Great Resignation?
While it can be tempting to fantasize about being a part of this movement, this episode is about slowing down to take this question seriously.
If you’re even entertaining being part of the Great Resignation, what is going on? What hurts? What isn’t working anymore?
We talk about quitting or exiting as a purposeful choice and what the alternatives could be to walking away from the whole thing.  We explore the distinctions between impulses, dreams and plans, the idea of renegotiation, and some questions you can ask yourself as you figure out where you land in one of the great employment stories of our time.

Inside Job is brought to you by Nayla Bahri and Eric Johnson.
