This episode features our interview with The Texas Trio, comprised of Kyle Park, John Michael Whitby & Jason Roberts.
Kyle has been a guest on the podcast several times but it was our first time getting to visit with Jason Roberts and John Michael Withby (JMW). Both are very accomplished musicians in their own right. Jason and JMW both played with Asleep At The Wheel for earlier in their careers. Currently, Jason is fronting the famed Bob’s Wills Texas Playboys and JMW has been playing keys in Country Music Icon George Strait’s Ace in the Hole Band for 19 years now. Sounds like Jason will even be doing some dates with the Ace in the Hole Band as well before long!
Their new self-titled album was just released on Friday, May 17th, 2024 and you can check it out HERE!

On this episode of The Troubadour, we visit with documentary filmmaker Chistopher Fitzpatrick about his new project, Oklahoma Breakdown: The Mike Hosty Story.
The film has already won honors at film festivals across the United States and screenings are taking place as we speak. The next screening will be held at The Mayan Theater in Denver, CO on May 16th followed up by a performance by Mike Hosty himself!

Country Music artist and songwriter Dallas Alexander is the featured guest on this episode.
We catch up with Dallas while he’s in Nashville for a couple weeks of songwriting.
Before going after a career as a Country Music artist, Dallas was in an elite special forces division of the Canadian Military (JTF2) and held the world record for the longest sniper shot ever in combat. So, yeah….let’s just go ahead and say he’s a badass.
