#022 - Intermittent Fasting & Its Benefits
When it comes to losing weight, dieting is by far the most popular strategy. Intermittent fasting is becoming increasingly popular, but what exactly is it? Intermittent fasting is more of an eating pattern/cycle than a diet. Intermittent fasting advises you WHEN to eat rather than WHAT to eat. You only eat at certain times of the day and fast the rest of the time.
In this week's episode, we are joined by Margaret Gatwiri, a nutrition therapist, who discusses Intermittent fasting, the benefits, how best to go about it, the science behind it and finally the dangers it may have to people with certain conditions.

I hope this is a sandwich.
Brave of you to try tackle this deeply divisive topic. It’s a very heavy and sensitive topic. Could have been done better though. Would love to see this redone with facts and opinions better articulated from both sides.
Also, there’s quite a bit happening in the Kenyan scene. SHIF, affordable housing, Ahmed Nassir’s SCOK ban etc. Would love to hear a commentary on what’s happening in the Kenyan context from Kenyans. Just a thought.
Can’t wait for future episodes.
