Onze spelers starten hun avonturen in het dorp Kirinwood, in het oosten van het koninkrijk Cormyr in het vertrouwde Faerûn (Forgotten Realms). De groep gaat een beeltenis en eerbetoon aan Silvanus brengen naar een plek waar de zwarte wortels hoogtij lijken te vieren.
