Out of Office* is a podcast about how we work, adapt and evolve during the most acute modern version of our species’ unending struggle for survival. Initially scheduled to launch in early April, CoVID-19, which created this show, postponed that launch until the end of April. I’ve had some bad bosses but damn.

S1E2: Nelson Rodriguez, President, Chicago Fire FC - Recorded April 1, 2020
In this episode, recorded on April 1 (likely with a developing case of CoVID-19), Robby speaks with Nelson Rodriguez, President of Chicago Fire FC, about what a professional sports organization does when there are no sports.
This is the first episode I recorded, and it sounds like it. Luckily when your guest is a pro, it can still come out interesting! -
S1E3: Linda Burtch, Founder, Burtchworks - Recorded April 22, 2020
Recorded three-weeks after Ep.2, Robby is joined by Linda Burtch, founder and Managing Director of Burtch Works, an executive recruiting firm that focuses on data science and analytics talent. They also talk about salary transparency, the importance of soft skills, beefing up technical skills, and how the world desperately needs a sitcom set in the office of an executive recruiting firm. Special thanks to Norm MacDonald for the "Moth" joke and to CoVID-19 for knocking Robby out for three weeks.
