    The Constitution Tips

    The Constitution Tips

Sick and tired of the daily grind as a 25 year old working in the family business, Tim left it all behind to go to New York. He started off as a busboy in South Brooklyn. The type of bar rich Moldovans own to try to hit on women (yes, this is actually a thing!). From there he hustled his way to one of New York's top bars. Tim's life story is not all we talk about in this episode though. We delve into the surprising truth of what happens when you tip your bartenders, the wildest ice hockey fight stories, how Tim's country maybe but probably helped write the constitution, and half non-jokingly discuss massive male genocide. Nbd. Tune in and enjoy!

    The Human Jam

    The Human Jam

There's human jams, there's no personal space, there are no shit sandwiches, and there's an Argentina to fútbol type of obsession with another sport. Today's guest tells us a bit about her very special corner of the world. She also walks us through her process as an illustrator: drawing strangers in public and all the sticky situations that brings. On top of all this we talk about the social menace that is skateboarding, some useful tips for haggling, Facebook marketplace's anti-haggling epidemic, and all the reasons why shower sex is simply a bad idea. Listen to this or you might just get bed-stuy bugs on your mattress!

    The Precious Star

    The Precious Star

One of the biggest stereotypes for this country is that everyone knows each other. We certainly did not disprove that with this episode! Its accents are also world famous (and highly desired!), but also wonderfully varied and specific. Our guest today talks to us about all this, but also tries to show us a picture of his home country that is not what you always hear: a welcome place that is booming economically and has a lot to offer. We also talk about how saying yes to everything can lead you to carrying perrier water up the stairs of the Dakota for Yoko Ono, grabbing dinner with Leonardo Dicaprio's art agent (and yes, we do ask if Yoko Ono tips well)... or in a very long boring Uber ride. Along the way we hear about our guest's many international adventures. So don't be a gobshite and tune in to this week's episode!

    The Locker

    The Locker

Three hour lunches are not an easy thing to accomplish. They require a few key elements: chatty participants, a slow waiter, coffee and a digestive at the end of the meal, and finally just a bit of a different attitude towards life. Our guest comes from a place just like this. In this episode, our guest tells us a bit about their fascinating life story: a foreign mother with a great accent, being the son of a miracle, speaking three languages, being part of several movements (squatters, critical mass, comic book conventions), and how all that lead to their life as an artist today. On top of this, we talk through some detours: lockers, unfriendly margarita-making roommates, seeing Catherine Zeta Jones naked and how wind can make us crazy. Listen to this one soon, before death catches up with you.

The Bread, Rice and Potatoes (In that order)

The Bread, Rice and Potatoes (In that order)

It's a place of directness, newcomers, bread and rice, and nosy neighbors. In this episode, we meet an artist named Noga. We start off with how where she's from has given her thick skin and how that has made her a better artist (we even talk about the famous shit sandwich). We talk about privacy. Some places would rather hide every single good thing that happens to you (don't jinx it!), while others would shout out your grades out loud in the classroom. We talk about New York. To Noga and Ale, its "no one cares about you" vibes are liberating. We talk about tortilla chips, Yonkers and "Industrial". At the end, Jorge almost doesn't guess where our guest is from. Tune in to see if you can!

    The Cheating

    The Cheating

We're not going to lie: We talk a lot about cheating on this episode. We talk about types of cheating, strategies for cheating, tools for cheating, ethics of cheating, going to the bathroom for cheating, getting caught cheating, and even being very publicly humiliated for cheating. Turns out one of our hosts was a complete dweeb growing up! We also talk about the role of gender in dating and gender roles, taking out the ruler on your kids, and whether you should give the best piece of chicken to your kids. Towards the end we talk about picking your name as an adult: how do you go about picking it, the meaning of different names, and we go through some of the most awful ones. In the end, we see Alex get very, very close to guessing where our guest is from!
