Bradley Johnson Macca Interviews' Podcast

    • Performing Arts

The 16-year-old from Liverpool told the panel how his parents split while he was growing up and how he became ‘confused’, becoming involved with ‘scallies and thugs’.

Johnson went on to blow the judges away with his audition, a cover of Ed Sheeran’s The A Team.

He said: ‘When I was 12 years old I started getting involved with scallies and thugs and that’s when I started getting in to trouble at school.

‘I’ve been expelled from three schools. When I was 13, I got kicked out of my first school, when I was 14 I got kicked out of my second school.

‘My mum and dad split up, I was confused. I was drinking on the streets, getting arrested by the police and it progressed from there.’
