I am a father of four amazing and crazy kids, who inspire me daily. I have been married to Stephanie for 12 years. We just moved to Hawaii to renew our life together, grow as a family, build our businesses and most importantly live the 'ALOHA' way.     Momentum Monday - Stay Persistent

    Persistence: to continue in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.

    No matter the difficulty, no matter the tough obstacles, no matter the situation we are in, we must have the mindset to KEEP GOING.

    Whether we are going after a fitness goal, a professional goal or a financial goal, we must stay persistent as we pursue those goals.

    Some goals, those big ambitious goals, will take a tremendous amount of time and persistence. Do not let up. Do not give up. Stay on it.

    Once our feet hit the ground, we need to keep charging and fighting for those goals.

    We need this mindset each and every day to have that positive energy as we pursue those things we want.

    So let's stay persistent this week.

    Momentum Monday - Make the Mindset your weapon

    How we want to live, the goals we want to achieve, and the people we want to inspire... these things are all directed by our attitude and mindset.

    Our mindset is our attitude.

    Our attitude dictates our entire life.

    We want to build our mindset to be our weapon.

    We can use this weapon to catapult ourselves into getting into great shape.

    We can use this weapon to overcome tough obstacles in life.

    We can use this weapon to hit personal bests.

    We can use this weapon to get a promotion at our jobs.

    We can use this weapon to push us through the last 10 minutes of a workout.

    When we pursue our fitness and life goals, it's crucial to work on conditioning our mindset so we can consistently go after our biggest goals and ambitions.

    This week, let's focus on creating a strong and confident mindset that supports our goals and endeavors.

    Momentum Monday - Embracing Life Circumstances - 6:3:19, 5.20 AM

    What happens when we are trying to pursue big goals and some tough life situation enters our life?

    How do we embrace these tough moments?

    In today's episode, I discuss a few things to think about when facing a tough life situation.

    It's important to keep a positive mindset when facing challenging moments in life. This will help us get up each day, put one foot in front of the other and do so with an optimistic attitude.

    I always say that our attitude is the one major things that we can control. So whatever is happening in your life right now, some things may be out of our control, but our mindset... our attitude... how we respond to the situation... that is in our control. Stay strong!

    There is a lot to be grateful for so stay focused on being aware of these things. Gratitude creates a calming feeling and gets us focused on the people and things we appreciate.

    A new week is here. Let's stay inspired to keep fighting for our goals.

    Momentum Monday - Organization is the name of the game

    Momentum Monday - Organization is the name of the game

    "Time is more valuable than money. You can always make more money but you can not make more time." Jim Rohn

    Time is a valued asset in one's life. Either we use our time wisely or we end up wasting our time. If we have goals that we are pursuing, we can not afford to waste much time. Every day does count. So taking advantage of the time we have and utilizing it more efficiently will benefit us tremendously.

    Time can be on our side and we can take full advantage of each day we are alive by becoming a better manager of our time.

    This is not about following some unrealistic or perfect schedule. This is about taking control of our time with just a little more intention and focus on creating the day to day schedule.

    I recommend sitting down at the beginning of the week to go over your schedule. Write in all of your appointments, your workouts, your social events, your kids' activities...basically everything that is important to you. Add it to your calendar.

    Once you do this, take a few moments to glance over each day to visualize how that day may go. This will give you a better grasp on the upcoming day.

    Let's eliminate the excuse of "I don't have time." Instead, let's just continue to become a better manager of time. Always strive to develop a better system to manage your time. This will lead to better production, more focus on the major things and better organization.
