- Health & Fitness
I am a 23 year old woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer at 22. I am now cancer free and I want to share my story from the viewpoint of a survivor. I will start from the beginning and work my way to now while inviting guests to talk about their own view points and journeys in the healthcare system.

Hira All the Way from Pakistan
Hira is joining us all the way from Pakistan, we may have a slight language barrier, but I think we worked well together to bring her story to the internet. I hope you enjoy listening. We all have our own story and even though at times it can feel like we are going through this life alone our shared or common experiences can make it feel like we are long lost family. I hope that through listening to these stories you will feel closer to others and less isolated.
Some clarifications:
Pakistan does not have the same HIPAA laws as the US. In Hira's instance she was at peace with her husband being told first, because he was able to be her rock when she was told her diagnosis.

Rebecca Answers Questions
If you haven't already, go back and listen to Rebecca's story. If you have listened to her story hit play to hear the rest and some beautiful pearls of wisdom from a survivor and warrior.
If you are a survivor or caregiver close your eyes, take a breath, blow it out, and know you are loved. Warning minor language used, talks about anatomy and sex, and may be triggering for those with PTSD after breast cancer.
