After 36 years as a Type 1 Diabetic, I felt it was time to really start sharing and focus on what I have learned about controlling my diabetes and living my dreams. Of course, we'll also delve into the mistakes I have made in the process. I have had a Blessed career in the Canadian Country Music Industry but I have also been able to live my dreams that I was told would never happen as a Type 1 diabetic. This podcast will look at how far we have come with technology, what advancements have been made and I'll talk to many leaders in the diabetes industry who are scientists, engineers, health & fitness experts and patients who are living with diabetes.

When Sydney was diagnosed at 3 years old with type 1 diabetes, they learned to navigate one sugar check to the next and all Sydney understood was she had to take medicine so she could eat. With technology on her side and having fun educating her friends, she is persevering as a diabetic, winning awards from school and looking forward to pursuing her dream of becoming a pediatric nurse.
