On Children & Grief CARONISM Show

    • Society & Culture

Life is often unpredictable and a huge part of our lives is death. One of the most difficult things about parenthood is experiencing grief through the eyes of a child. In this episode, our guest is Chantia Carter, licensed clinical therapist and founder of Art of Peace Wellness in Charlotte, NC. I thought it important to discuss children and grief because I discovered it is one of those difficult conversations we often avoid. Every person has a different response to experiencing loss and when you consider children who may not be able to fully articulate what or how they feel, we have to open the door so they, too can heal. Chantia helps us get a better understanding of grief, its process, the human response to it and how to love each other through it.
