    What a remarkable woman @bikinigirl_vs_cancer is! Diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2020 at just 28, Destiny faced intensive treatment during the pandemic.

    After chemotherapy, radiotherapy and brachytherapy, this specimen of a woman was given the all clear but just 7 months later she found herself receiving the devastating news that her cancer had returned.

    Her options were surgery with just a 40 percent chance of success, or palliative chemo with a life expectancy of just 8-10 months. Please take a listen to her incredible story…oh and did I mention she’s an oncology nurse?? Destiny you are a rockstar.

    It was a pleasure to chat to 31 year old Charls about what it’s like to live with incurable cervical cancer. Her story is remarkable but not half as remarkable as she is. Charls shares the signs and symptoms of the disease as well as the treatment she's undergone (chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery) and how she knew it had spread to her hip bone. She's an incredible being with such a positivity to life and she's super keen to share her story to help others.

    Imagine being told you have incurable Bowel cancer and have to undergo a 12 hour operation to remove your ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, vagina, rectum, anus, 4 spinal nerves, left piriformis muscle, left pelvic sidewall and a left ureterectomy with reimplantation into the bladder. That’s just a handful of what 36 year old Natalie Woodward has had to go through. I caught up with this wonder woman about how she’s doing, what drives her positivity and looking ahead.
