Proverbs 22:6 says parents are to train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not part from it. Eph: 6:1-2 says “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise”
Scripture: Psalm 127: 3,4, Proverbs 6:20
Prayer starter: Abba Father, thank you for blessing me with child(ren) you have given me to raise to know and worship you. I pray that even when they walk through the valley of the shadow of death may your rod and staff comfort them. Put a hedge of protection around them, may no weapon that is formed against them prosper. Guide their steps and shower them with wisdom.
