Join David Lee and Leslie Kim, two Asian American highschoolers stranded in the cornfields of the midwest, as they explore the underlooked history of Asians in America and how it’s developed the Asian American communities of today. Each episode will investigate the history behind Asian trends and conceptions on everything from the American Dream to Tiger Moms and will be followed up by intriguing discussions you won't want to miss.

01 - Is the American Dream as real as it seems?
The belief in the "American Dream" has enlightened the minds of both Americans and immigrants for the past four centuries. But what exactly is this "American Dream" and just how tangible is it?
Today, we as two high school students of Asian American backgrounds will provide you how exactly the American Dream came to be by taking a look at the Colonial period of the Americas, the early 20th century when the term was coined, and the post-WWII years with snippets of our own enthralling perspectives in our dinner table discussions. We guarantee you that by the end, we'll have you pondering all day about what you believe and if you believe in this "American Dream".
