Aquatic Academy 2015 Aquarium of the Pacific

In the fourth session of the Spring 2019 Aquatic Academy, speakers included Marshall Toplansky, professor of management science at Chapman University, and Aquarium President and CEO Jerry Schubel.

In the third session of the Spring 2019 Aquatic Academy, speakers included Luke Gardner, California Sea Grant aquaculture specialist, and Kim Thompson, program manager, Seafood for the Future at the Aquarium.

In the second session of the Spring 2019 Aquatic Academy, speakers included Aquarium President and CEO Jerry Schubel and Peter Kareiva, Director, Institute of the Environment and Sustainability at UCLA.

In the first session of the Spring 2019 Aquatic Academy, speakers included Aquarium President and CEO Jerry Schubel and Ted Nordhaus, President of the Breakthrough Institute.

In the first session of the Fall 2017 Aquatic Academy, speakers included Eric Rignot, a scientist from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

The Fall 2017 Aquatic Academy course focused on the role the World Ocean plays in modulating Earth’s climate and how the World Ocean and its ecosystems are responding to climate change. Participants learned about the implications of those changes for the future.

In the second session of the Fall 2017 Aquatic Academy held on November 1, speakers included Josh Willis, project scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
