    Ep #12 The New Normal

    Ep #12 The New Normal

It crystallised for me was that Covid-19 has created a lot of turbulence and devastation in the lives of many. Our lives have changed since the outbreak. Whether it being learning a new skill, doing things differently or changing of routine, there is a degree of acceptance within us rendering new ways of thinking and doing. The pandemic has inculcate the importance of appreciating the little things in life that does not cost us a thing. Like kindness and generosity. We will see many more future disasters in our time. But when we remain connected and innovative in our approach, we can combat any challenge that comes our way with courage and determination.

Ep #11 Be Expansive NOT Restrictive

Ep #11 Be Expansive NOT Restrictive

As Nelson Mandala eloquently asserted "There is no passion to be found playing small in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living”. Being a non-conformist can be hard especially, when your ideologies and rituals are incongruent with the mindsets and behaviours of the majority populace. Every criticism and disparaging comment however has fuelled me to dream bigger, to think harder, to enact firmer and to behave better. By upholding an oppositional stance, I realised conformity is unhelpful. It doesn’t teach you
to be authentic and transformative. Do not be reduced by other people’s affairs and agendas. Rather lead the way with courage and expansiveness.

    Ep #10 Love Liberates

    Ep #10 Love Liberates

This podcast is dedicated to my late attah (grandmother) and late fur baby Rusty. I am grateful to have been loved, to be loved and to be able to love. Rusty and my grandma taught me the importance and magic of unconditional love. They showed me what love looked like in a pragmatic form. I am yet to meet someone like my grandma. I don’t think anyone can live up to her standards. Not even me. But I will continue to do my best to live by her teachings and Rusty’s to liberate myself and others around me.

    Ep #9 Letting it go.....

    Ep #9 Letting it go.....

Stop being the prisoner of your past affairs. Ameliorate yourself for what awaits you. The best revenge is to move on and let it go. The best ego is to be brave enough to let it go. The best life is to forgive and let it go. Commit and invest in your future not your past. If you hold onto resentment, only you will suffer. If you hold on to hatred, only you will suffer. If you hold on to anger, only you will suffer. Centre and channel the divine light within you and you shall be blessed and served abundantly.

Ep #8 Engage or Disengage, YOU DECIDE

Ep #8 Engage or Disengage, YOU DECIDE

Episode 8 pertains to ‘Engage or Disengage: You Decide’. We have a choice to either engage or disengage with and from people, no matter the circumstances. When I choose to engage even with the slyest of people is because, I realise they need light. When you radiate light, people will be drawn to you. We must however enact caution and diligence when dealing with parasites. Those that I remain engaged with, are typically ones that are genuine and are fundamentally good people. I use the word fundamentally as no one is perfect but when one is ‘fundamentally good’, they are likely to uphold rudimentary human virtues that will ameliorate others and themselves. As Maya Angelou eloquently posited, “You know what’s right. Just do right. You don’t really have to ask anybody. Right might not be expedient. Right might not be profitable. But it will satisfy your soul”. This quote inspires and informs my conduct in how I engage and disengage with others. Do your magic. And leave when you see it as fit.

    Ep #7 Choices and Controls

    Ep #7 Choices and Controls

Episode 7 pertains to ‘choices’ and ‘controls’. We live in a world surrounded by unending chaos and turbulence. No matter how much we question and try to make sense out of it, we only have control with what’s in our control. This is where choices come in. The choices we make determines the outcomes we experience. Fundamentally we have a choice to either be reduced or to be enhanced. Our choices dictate our controls. Our controls inform our mindsets and deportments. Get your choices and controls right darling ones.
