Sharma is an ecology graduate and recipient of this years AAAS mass media fellowship. As a part of this fellowship, Sharma wrote four long form science stories for the Miami Herald. One of his favourite Science article is about the potential of indigenous knowledge in saving pristine region such Antarctica (link 1).
