If God is steadfast and longsuffering with those who love Him, and is longsuffering with those who do not love Him, as Christ followers, we MUST be planted in Him firmly. if we are to truly speak of His love AND His truth and to show His light to a darkened world, we must remain in the light! What's the use of a lantern if it never uses the oil? So let us walk in the light TODAY and live for Him! Amen.

"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. ` And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. - James 1:2-4 ESV

"if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister." - Colossians 1:23 ESV

"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain." - 1 Corinthians 15:58 ESV

What good is a Christian who doesn't love like Christ? How can we expect the world to change if we don't advocate and actively push for it and be the change in the world? Christ does the work, and we are His tools. Love must be shown in all we do, else all that we do is forfeit. In this episode, we discuss the love of the church and the source of our love, as well as its chief end; to show others the mercy of Christ, and His love that He lavished on us.

"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing." - 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (ESV.)

Hey guys! Sorry for such a long hiatus from last episode to this one. I've had to do a lot of thinking and spend time with God in order to realign myself with His Spirit and to turn my heart back to Him. It was a long process, and I had to learn a lot along the way. I hope to continue making more episodes as time goes on and be more regular with uploading! I hope you guys enjoy this episode on dry seasons and lukewarmness in the Christian walk!
