Intimacy...It's not just about sex
Intimacy…
It’s everywhere but, more often than not, we completely ignore it and pretend like it doesn’t exist because let’s face it…sex is still a taboo topic in today’s world in most circles and that is the very thing intimacy represents.
Intimate apparel = lingerie = sex
Intimate setting = candlelight and romance = sex
Intimate conversation = sex talk
Freud would be so proud of the fact that we relate just about everything to sex. He would not be please at the embarrassment around it nor the confusion it plays when it comes to intimacy. Or maybe he would…
We can unpack that one another day.
