A variety of music beginning with West Coast jazz from the 90's from Black/Note. That is followed by a couple of Chick Corea tunes, continuing the tribute from last week. Rounding out the show is vocalist Flora Purim, GBSaxPlayer's first single, and we finish with a classic from Dexter.

Last week we learned of the passing on of jazz master and beloved musician Chick Corea. He had a profound impact on my life, and his music was a gateway to my love of jazz music. This podcast pays homage to Armando (Chick) Corea. I don't think there is another musician who expressed so much love for music as an art form.

This episode begins with covers of pop tunes from Wonder and Hendrix. From there we hear interesting arrangements of standards by Dan Arcamone and Dan Pugach. Other great jazz follows to close out this week's show.

One with DeJohnette and John Surman, another with McPartland and Corea. The episode concludes paying tribute to the late Lee Konitz.

This music in this podcast has nothing to do with our 45th president. It is just a celebration of his leaving of office, and a hope we can someday return to "normalcy".
