My mother and I talk about food: nesting tummies, being a form of identity and statement, all through the tone of nostalgia and rich air of village in my mothers words. For my grandmother food is a medium to nest people and make connections. From the neighbor- Maggi Aunty to the towns shepherd – Adh Amma , she has nested through food.
