Policing in America Project: The Value of Community Engagement DataShare

This episode of Data Share we will hear about the Policing in America Project. The project was created to gather information about perspectives on police activities in the United States and calibrate new insights. Residents in Cook County, Illinois, and Dallas County, Texas were surveyed about public perceptions and experiences with the police.

During this episode you will hear from Patrick McGarry from data.world who moderated a discussion with Dr. Lorenzo Boyd with the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives and Dr. Peniel Joseph, Founding Director, Center for the Study of Race and Democracy, Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
