This isn't just your ordinary history podcast. Produced and hosted by two women in the field of history, this podcast delves into the realm of history that is produced by and for the public, from museums and archives to documentaries and podcasts (kind of like ours?). Oh yeah, there is also a little boozy twist to support local breweries, distilleries and bars. Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/publichistorypodcast/support

Episode 4: From Grade to Graduate School

Episode 4: From Grade to Graduate School

Mama we made! Danielle and Shine update everyone and reflect on that realization that we will be the first two people EVER to defend their MA Capstone Thesis at St. Mary's University MA of Public History. Danielle continues to talk about the public education system in Texas and Shine claims history is kind of like propaganda in her own experiences... yikes! We both come to conclusion our identities have influenced our ideas in education and understanding the importance of learning and teaching history.
