S4:E1 Starting your journey Feat. Ryan Barner of Lyft Coding Life

    • 과학 기술

Ryan Barner, a Software Engineer (SWE) at Lyft, kicked off Day 1 of DevCon. Ryan's professional journey encountered unique inflection points- from being hired as an Analyst for Lyft to departing a cushy career plan for new opportunities at a coding Bootcamp. Amazingly these detours allowed her to get back to where she started; Ryan found her way back to Lyft and was hired as an SWE.

In April of 2020, The Next Steps team was motivated to help individuals who are pursuing careers in engineering, technology, and entrepreneurship, but found themselves paralyzed by the COVID19 Pandemic. Like so many of us, these individuals found themselves unsure about what are the Next Steps. We put together DevCon, a virtual conference where we focused on three areas: how to get started, how to level up in your career and shed light on entrepreneurship for engineers. The Conference was sponsored by Wallet Clicks, the digital business card company.
