Saving Our Seas...One Whale at a Time
The North Atlantic Right Whale is a critically endangered species of whale that is expected to be extinct by the year 2045 at the current rate of decline. One of the leading causes of death among these whales is collisions between shipping vessels and the whales. As a result of an increased presence of shipping vessels in our oceans and with more than 50,000 shipping vessels present at any given time, whale strikes have only become more frequent.
In this podcast, we speak to three experts to explore potential avenues for reducing the number of strikes and protecting North Atlantic Right Whales.
