B Sides
B Sides
Today we take you into the world of vinyl. Back to the days when we would purchase our single play 45rpm records from a record store. When we got home we would turn the record over and there was another song – the B side. Some of the B sides turned out to be unexpected treasures such as The Shirelles song Boys or The Coasters unusual rendition of the old song Zing Went The Strings Of My Heart. Some B sides became very popular and eclipsed the A side such as Rod Stewart’s wonderful Maggie May or The Beach Boys classic God Only Knows.

This is followed by fifties group The Four Aces rendition of the title song of the film Love Is A Many Splendored Thing starring Jennifer Jones.
