The Summer of Cocktails continues as we mix and sample The Revolver while discussing Jim Dale reading Harry Potter, concern for Nick’s beard, expressing an orange, dark after dinner cocktail, Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday with a Coupe Glass, journaling, penmanship, content and flourish, growing up in an era when cursive was important, legibility, writing in all caps, and approaching penmanship from an artist’s mind versus a writer’s mind.
The Revolver:
2 oz bourbon
3/4 oz coffee liquor 
Splash of Gran Marnier 
Couple of dashes of orange bitters
orange peel
Shake first two ingredients with ice. Pour into coupe glass, float Gran Marnier, garnish with an expressed orange peel.

The Summer of Cocktails continues as we mix and sample a Watermelon Cooler while discussing taping Nick’s mouth shut, safe space in which to share things, the most summeriest of the fruits, sitting in a lawn chair in Florida is painful, the start of summer movie season, Fall Guy, plot’s not important, bucketobagopopcorn, Furiosa, The Acolyte, reNewed Hope, The Boys Season 4, House of the Dragon Season 2, Inside Out 2, freakin Bing Bong, The Bear Season 3, Twisters, Deadpool and Wolverine, Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2, and wearing shorty shorts. 
Watermelon Cooler:
3 oz diced watermelon
3/4 oz lime juice
1/4 simple syrup
2 oz gin
ginger beer or ale
Muddle first three ingredients. Add gin. Shake. Pour into rocks/collins glass, top with ginger beer, garnish with watermelon slice.

Blackberry Basil Bourbon Smash:
3 Basil leaves
Small handful of blackberries
.5 oz simple syrup
1 oz fresh lemon juice
2 oz bourbon
Top with soda water
Garnish with blackberries and basil leaves
Muddle first three ingredients. Add ice, lemon juice, and bourbon. Shake. Pour into rocks/collins glass, top with club soda, garnish with blackberries and basil leaves

Easy Street:
3 cucumber slices
1.5 oz gin
.75 oz lemon juice
1 oz elderflower liqueur 
Muddle all ingredients, add ice, shake, pour into rocks/collins glass, top with club soda, garnish with cuke wheel.
