Jesus said "Blessed are the poor in spirit"

Today we are going to take a look at Matthew chapter 5:1-3.  This is the beginning of what is called the Sermon on the Mount and runs through chapter 7.  We are only going to look at the first 3 verses of chapter 5.  Jesus starts His message by announcing that blessed (happy) are the poor in spirit. Lets see just what He meant.

Today we are going to take a look at Luke 7:1-23.  In these verses we will see Jesus minister to 5 people and change their lives. In doing that we will see Jesus proclaim that He is indeed the Messiah, the Son of God who takes away the sin of the world. We will also see how Jesus has gone out of His way to become personally involved with those in need.  Are you in need today?  If so, Jesus stands ready to touch your life and give you rest.  Grab your Bible and note book as we study Luke 7:1-23 and watch Jesus forever change the lives of those who believe in Him.

God is sovereign in the affairs of mankind. He wove His will into the tapestry of human events never missing a beat or making a mistake. At the right time, in the right place, God brought fourth a Son who is Christ the Lord. The only begotten Son of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Today we look at the Book of Revelation 2:1-7 and what Jesus has to say to the Church at Ephesus. Because, what Jesus says to the Ephesian Church He is also saying to us. The Book of Revelation promises a blessing for those who read, hear, and obey all that is written in it.  What is Jesus saying and what should our response be?  Grab your Bible and note book as we take a look at what Jesus says to the Churches.

Stay a long while with Jesus. Christians need one focus in their lives. That is their relationship with Jesus. What happens when a Christian makes his relationship with Jesus his main focus and purpose in life? Luke chapter 10 will help you understand the power, purpose, and joy that is found in spending time in prayer with Jesus.
