How to be Happy (not what you think)
Jesus said "Blessed are the poor in spirit"
Today we are going to take a look at Matthew chapter 5:1-3. This is the beginning of what is called the Sermon on the Mount and runs through chapter 7. We are only going to look at the first 3 verses of chapter 5. Jesus starts His message by announcing that blessed (happy) are the poor in spirit. Lets see just what He meant. -
Jesus: the Messiah-the Mission-the Method
Today we are going to take a look at Luke 7:1-23. In these verses we will see Jesus minister to 5 people and change their lives. In doing that we will see Jesus proclaim that He is indeed the Messiah, the Son of God who takes away the sin of the world. We will also see how Jesus has gone out of His way to become personally involved with those in need. Are you in need today? If so, Jesus stands ready to touch your life and give you rest.
