WHO THE F$#K IS BUYING BET?
Hey, did you hear the news? Tyler Perry, the super talented producer, director, and actor, might become the owner of Black Entertainment Television (BET)! Apparently, Paramount Global, the current owner of BET, has hinted that they might be selling it, and Tyler Perry is one of several wealthy businessmen who are interested in taking control of the iconic entertainment brand. The Wall Street Journal first reported on this earlier this month, and soon after, Byron Allen, a former comedian turned entertainment mogul, and Sean "Diddy" Combs, the famous hip-hop artist, also expressed their interest in bidding for BET. Although a sale is not confirmed yet, it's generating a lot of excitement and speculation. If a sale does happen, it could mean that BET will have Black owners for the first time in over two decades, which would be a significant and exciting change.
