On the morning of February 27, 1995, Cheryl Feeney doesn’t show up to work and her coworkers become concerned. Her friend and colleague drives to the home on Nottingham Street to check on the family — a decision that would forever change her life.

Jon Feeney appears to be a loving father and husband. He is considered one of the best science teachers in the Ozarks, and many students and fellow teachers like him. But after the murder of his family becomes public, details about his personal life and conduct as a teacher come to light, and the town starts to question his character.

The town becomes divided as Jon moves back into the Nottingham home and hires one of the top defense lawyers in the country.

Jon Feeney is indicted on three counts of murder for the death of his wife and two children. In the trial, the courtroom fills up as more shocking details emerge about Jon’s personal and professional life.
