Because success doesn’t happen over night. And talking about the hardships, talking about how others struggle with writer’s block/burn out/loss of drive and thousands of other negative affects that comes from choosing to pursue this mentally/emotionally demanding passion is important. I fully believe that the less alone a writer feels, the less likely they are to give up.
