Tune in for this special guest interview with the creator of Space but Messier!!

Tony is a husband, father and science communicator in pursuit of his M.S. Space Studies & Astronomy. When he was younger, he thought he was too stupid to study space until a teacher helped him realize that he wasn't, and now his mission is to motivate and inspire future generations to really dive into their passions and pursue schooling and careers that give them purpose (specifically in space science). He hosts the Space, But Messier! Tiktok, and Youtube channel where he educates the general public about space with the goal of helping them realized they aren't too stupid to study it.

Ep. 76: Dark Matter, Vera Rubin, Space consciousness and beyond

So this episode took a lot of turns!! Originally made to be a Historical Figures episode about Vera Rubin, turned into a wild discussion about dark matter, multiverse theory, our consciousness in space, star lifetimes and I don’t even remember what else tbh.

Have fun if you listen to it! Haha

From 1928-2016, this American astronomer revolutionized our understanding of the motions of galaxies which proposed the initial idea of dark matter. So if dark matter or energy interests you - you’ll want to tune into this episode!!
