My name's Gladys Serugga and I've always been passionate about storytelling, but more so about the people telling them. This podcast will feature some inspiring individuals who have taken life's blows but have also triumphed in their purpose and pursuit of their identity in Christ.

Join me, as I chat with them on topics that we've all probably had some firsthand experience with. May these conversations inspire us as we grow through what we go through.

Have you ever asked yourself "what's the point?" when it comes to your faith?

Join me as I chat with Michelle Munenyasha on how she navigated ^that^, grief in letting go of things you once enjoyed and giving grace to yourself! Michelle is a 21-year-old Kids Pastor from Perth, WA, at a church that has over 300 kids in the kid's ministry. I sat down with her to hear how she became the woman she is today, and why transparency (which led her to be on the podcast!!) is so important to her.

Find out exactly what she said that stuck out to me so much so I made sure she was our next guest on the podcast! This is I'm All In featuring Michelle Munenyasha

If you would like to leave some feedback on the episode, be sure to send us a message via Instagram @temples_au.

You can also nominate someone to be our next guest; have you or someone you know got a testimony to share around pursuing your purpose?

Or even a topic you think we should cover a bit more.. send us a message: @temples_au.

HERstory Pt2: My Career Journey (so far...)

    Hey Temples,

You've been patiently waiting... so here it is: part two of my career journey.

I really can't thank you enough for your support and love on the last episode, it means a lot to hear from you.

If you haven't heard the first part of this story, please check out Pt1 because it'll only make sense after you have heard that.

I'll be talking about imposter syndrome, money management, honest convos with God and finding your circle.

Hope this blesses you, as always!

    With love from your host,

    Gladys Serugga

HERstory Pt1: My Career Journey (so far...)

    Hey Temples!

It's been a while since it was just you and me, having a chat.

But I figured after 5 years of doing this, you watched me transition into different spaces and locations with no context whatsoever. I'm all for moving in silence, but I think it's time I shared my own story with you. After all... Temples is about identity in Christ and there are so many things that happened behind the scenes in these years that have stretched me and made me the woman I am today.

Here's to our career journey's not being linear. This is the representation I want to see, so I guess it does start with me.

I present to you, in a pandemic; Part One of my career journey.

Let me know your thoughts, hope you're encouraged.

    With love from your host,
    Gladys Serugga

Ep3: The Art of Creating Joy featuring Ruvimbo Matavire (@_ruvimbo)

Ep3: The Art of Creating Joy featuring Ruvimbo Matavire (@_ruvimbo)

Ruvimbo Matavire is the co-founder of Whole with God, a bible study that aims at encouraging new Christians with relatable content for their relationship with God. Last year, when I was in a rut, working from home and trying to complete my masters I had the opportunity to check in with Ru as this woman was churning out inspiration on Instagram in a season I struggled to even get out of bed

I want you to hear this timeless message that was recorded last year, but sounds like a message in the bottle, perfectly fit for it's arrival date in 2021. Hope Ru's one-liners of gold, encourage you wherever this podcast finds you.

    Blessings on blessings X

Ep2: Allowance for Change featuring Joy Muhirwa (@joie_benie)

Ep2: Allowance for Change featuring Joy Muhirwa (@joie_benie)

When I asked Joy about the changes that she experienced in 2020, she summed it in the most perfect, poetic, heart-restructuring way. She said, "I learnt how to trust God ALL over again". Now if that isn't a word for the season, I don't know what is.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we're back with another Present in the Pandemic podcast episode. I got to chat with Joy Muhirwa who is a psychology student, YouTuber and singer/songwriter. She also is the co-host of Lamplight Podcast where she and her boyfriend Brenton discuss unlearning their religion and coming into relationship with Jesus! I thought it'd be pretty cool to sit down and chat with her about change. Considering how we all wanted to square up to the cashier of 2020 who sold us all them dreams and get our refunds!

No matter how much we tried, 2020 was really out of everyone's control. So to all my planners who had to chuck their new years resolutions out the window, and all my flexible go with the flow people, who almost drowned in the waves of change last year, this one's for us. All of us, we seriously were in it together and we were very fortunate to make it out alive. So here's to a new year, but not without a little reflection first! Blessings on blessings X

Ep1: Rejection & the Feels that Follow with Hariette Ntakirutimana @chatswith.hariette

    BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!

Welcome to the very first episode of a series I have titled "Present in a Pandemic".

Temples has always been about interviewing phenomenal individuals in the community, and this season is no different. With tough lockdown restrictions in Melbourne, I had to be innovative with walking this vision out. After not being able to meet with my guests face to face, I took to Zoom to record conversations with people who inspired me out of a dry creative spell of writer's block.

To kick off, I chat with Hariette on Rejection and how we can better deal with our emotions (and help others through theirs) when it comes to some of life's lows. It was also great to chat with Hariette and do a check in, to see how she's been present in this pandemic!

    Hope you're encouraged,
    X
