Brendan Trainor is an award-winning [Nevada Press Association] writer and long-time resident of Nevada; former Libertarian Party State Chair and Ron Paul/Donald Trump Republican. He came to International attention on October 6, 1982 while seeking California's 16th Congressional District; Invited by the Reagan White House to a meeting in the East Room of the White House with other Republican candidates, Gary took exception to comments made by the President and interrupted him on the merits. Seen by as many as 900 million people around the globe, the President responded by telling Gary Richard Arnold to "Shut Up!"
